"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him."
(1 John 4:16)

Do you ever feel alone, rejected or unworthy? Do you ever feel worthless like a failure? Father loves you. In this family there are no favorites; God is no respecter of persons. Every person is loved equally, and that equal love is total love. God, being an infinite being, has no limitations. His love, mercy and grace to you are without limitation. His ability to forgive you has no limits! When you become glorified at the end of this race of life--when you lay this sinful body down, when corruption takes on incorruption, when mortality takes on immortality--when you see Him, you shall be like Him, John tells us. You will stand in His presence glorified, redeemed, free from sin's power, able to gaze upon Him! Having cast your crown at His feet, you'll cry with the creatures of heaven, "Holy! Holy! Holy!" Every day in eternity God will become more to you because there is no end to Him. Every day is going to be different and new. There is no end to the greatness of our God!

How does the awareness of God's infinity fit in to your daily behavior? When you're aware of the infinitude of our God, there is no limit to His ability to heal you, to deliver you, to bless you. In His infinitude you see other aspects revealing who God is, which we call "attributes" because of our limited ability to fabricate who this Being is. Everything you can imagine God to be, He is not, because your mind is finite. He, being infinite, is beyond what you can imagine. I say all that to say this: as you begin to think about God, don't think about Him in sections because He's not fragmented. You'll get confused if you let His attributes become entities to themselves. God never contends with having to reconcile His love and His justice, because all of His love is just and all of His justice is love. Everything that God is works in perfect harmony and absolute unity. That's why God chastens those that He loves, yet can send His creatures who He died for to a devil's hell. So many people have trouble comprehending that, but when you understand who God is, you see that there's no conflict.

If God is so available to all of us, yet all of us are not drawing near to Him to partake of His presence, is it God or is it you? God has no favorites, but God is not a communist. The fact that God chooses to sovereignly bless some and not others in no way contradicts the justice of God, the immutability of God, the mercy of God, the love of God. God is no respecter of persons yet there are too many of us thinking we're getting a bum deal.

You are loved just as much as any creature who has ever lived. Are you going to believe and accept the love that God has for you? Are you going to stop judging God in the way that He loves you and begin to let Him love you perfectly and infinitely? Are you going to believe that Father knows best?
