Spiritual Life - Spiritual Fruit Pt.7
Spiritual Life - Spiritual Fruit Pt.7
Date: January 4, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: The strongest love that exists is obedience and choice; it's
not emotion. Our natural tendency is envy. The greatest of us
is the one most aware of his debt and the servant of all. The
fruit of the spirit is to love God and your neighbor. To
forgive is not once for all but daily. Love is the will of God
being done in the believer's life. The fruit of the spirit
always represents the spirit of the law, not the letter of the
law. All the fruits find their strength in love. It's how you
respond when people are at their worst that shows genuine love.

Spiritual Life - Spiritual Fruit Pt.8
Spiritual Life - Spiritual Fruit Pt.8
Date: January 7, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: How you relate to one another tells how you're walking in the
Spirit. When you're emptied of self you'll fill others with
Jesus. Look beyond minor irritations. Live a life of
forgiveness. Don't try to turn them into you - make them the
best them they can be. Willful emptying of ourselves to help
others. He that loveth not is selfish- too busy to serve the
body - knoweth not God. Empty yourself to fill the other
person with the glory of God. Having freely received look for
opportunities to freely give.
-
Spiritual Life - Spiritual Fruit Pt.9
Spiritual Life - Spiritual Fruit Pt.9
Date: January 11, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Walk in the Spirit by allowing the self life to be crucified.
The reason we can't get free from the flesh is because we're
preoccupied with it. You are not more of a sinner because you
commit an act of the flesh. Love always acts. The expression
of love is a choice to let God live through us. Motivate one
another to live for God's glory and not their own. We need to
become obsessed with being mixed in and working in harmony with
the body. Bring one another to the place of selflessness. Be
kind, tenderhearted one to another. Love doesn't think evil;
it doesn't minimize sin in one's own life but magnify it in
another's life.
-
Spiritual Life - Spiritual Fruit Pt.10
Spiritual Life - Spiritual Fruit Pt.10
Date: January 11, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: The fruit of the spirit is the practical working of Jesus in
our lives. Fruit will manifest when we are one with one
another. We get focused on the blemish and don't see the
person. Tenderness. Endurance isn't just tolerating each
other; it's getting involved. Sometimes its easier for us to
forgive the big sins rather than the small ones. It's a high
calling to be used as a pruning instrument for someone.
Forbearance and forgiveness go hand in hand; the ability to set
aside. Do not think your conscience is the highest moral
standard. The mature party bears the infirmity of the weak.
Forgive them from the perception of the wickedness in your own
heart. There is no clearer look into our own hearts than when
someone sins against us.

Pastor Panel Discussion
Pastor Panel Discussion
Date: January 14, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastoral Staff
Synopsis: When God forgives our sin, in His mind, it never happened. But
when we refuse to forgive, all of our sins are brought back
into God's mind. You have to be able to forgive yourself. All
of our sin is against God. Forgiveness is an act of faith - an
expression of love.

Not To Us Pt.1
Not To Us Pt.1
Date: January 18, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Whenever we're seeking our own glory we're robbing God's
glory. We forget that God has "set us so". Whenever you're
not satisfied in Father, something is wrong with your
communion. I want my talk and my actions to bring glory to God
and not myself. You have got to do whatever it takes to stop
the sin that takes you. You get free from pride through
worship and ascribing all glory and majesty to God. Make God
big and make me small. If God is not your trust you're going
down. Give no opportunity to your flesh by waking in the
greater power of the Holy Spirit. Your glory and trust in
yourself is what prevents you from knowing Father. He strips
your glory away so you can know His glory.
-
God's Glory on Display Pt.1
God's Glory on Display Pt.1
Date: January 18, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: It violates the purpose of God when we try to get glory for
ourselves. God created us to bring Him glory. It's offensive
when we want to take credit from God's glory. God wants us to
bear fruit for His glory. All creation speaks of God's glory.
God has designed for us to find joy, delight and gladness in
all He is. Take some time to mediate on His greatness and the
glorious splendor of his majesty. We're being delivered from
the love of us. It's so much better to rejoice and delight in
God than to rejoice and delight in yourself. God wants us to
find our joy and contentment and satisfaction in Him. When you
get a glimpse of God you don't need anything else. Every
attribute of God is awesome. God delights in His own glory.
There is no greater love that God can have for you than to
point you to Himself.
-
God's Glory on Display Pt.2
God's Glory on Display Pt.2
Date: January 21, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: When God gives it's at great cost to Himself. When He gives
it's to receive glory. God delights in love. God's attributes
reveal His glory. We only see a manifestation of God's glory -
not the fullness. Satan wanted to compete with God for His
glory. Man wants to glorify himself. When you trust in your
prayer time and bible study you're trying to enhance God's
glory. God wants all the glory for your salvation. When we
fear man instead of God we rob His glory. No man is to be our
joy or delight. Power comes with revelation of God. We
provide a good contrast for God's glory. Our death produces
life in others because they see the glory of God.
-
Not To Us Pt.2
Not To Us Pt.2
Date: January 25, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: God is jealous for His glory. Make sure none of God's glory
goes to your idols. How much of God's glory you can see is in
direct proportion to how much of your glory has been stripped
away. Job was a man that God was proud of. God puts you in
the fire to destroy any hope and trust you have in yourself.
God wants us to stay until we are thoroughly melted. Trials
are to prove our faith, purify our faith and exercise our
faith. Your faith is genuine if you're willing to die for it.
People who faint don't have genuine faith. The Christian walk
is a walk of chastening.
-
Not To Us Pt.3
Not To Us Pt.3
Date: January 25, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Making sure God gets His glory. We like to get some of the
credit. God receives glory when we become vessels of honor
through which His spirit can flow. The gifts working in you
are only from the grace of God. Seek the power - don't seek
the position. You're just trying to draw attention to
yourself. Don't go beyond the grace. Mama Zebedee. How much
of our worship is pure? In the world - position is power. In
the Kingdom of God all the praise goes back to God. Worship to
Him takes priority over ministering to needs. Ministering to
need is for worship to God. There is no sibling rivalry in the
Body. Vacuuming the carpet is supernatural when it's done to
the glory of God.
-
God's Glory on Display Pt.3
God's Glory on Display Pt.3
Date: January 28, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: We are too big and God is too small in our eyes. God will
become bigger in our eyes if devotion is in our hearts. Is the
way I live proficient in expressing what I believe in Him? Who
should be the object of our affection? Devotion to self is
death. He wants our life to be all about Him. We fail to see
the huge gulf between God and us. God wants to be glorified in
us all the time. Our self is always screaming for attention.
Trying to find fulfillment and contentment in self is death.
God wants us to pursue glorifying Him.

Not To Us Pt.4
Not To Us Pt.4
Date: February 1, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: We are surrounded by enemies. The enemy will do anything that
would cause us to hesitate. Most of our failures are because
of the weights we picked up along the way. Cast down
imaginations. If its not drawing you closer to God it's from
the enemy - it's a weight. Everything we tasted left a seed.
Seduction is gradual. Man without God is on a course of
destruction. We work so hard on things that don't matter. God
will let you find out that without Him there is no hope. You
will walk free from the entanglements of this world to the
degree you learn there is nothing in this life worth living
for. The only meaning and worth is in the will of God. You
wouldn't want the world's approval if you had Father's
approval. There is no greater joy than pleasing Father's heart.
-
God's Glory on Display Pt.4
God's Glory on Display Pt.4
Date: February 1, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: With God you are not just sustained. God satisfies
abundantly. God is not stingy - we fail to draw upon Him. We
give up too soon on God and don't press in. God is all
satisfying if we'll give Him the opportunity. Your affections
for God will be more easily stirred when you have a pattern of
spending time with Him. Ask God to make himself real through
the trials in your life. Serving God is not something we do
out of obligation. Make the Lord the object of your delight.
Find your joy in the Lord in spite of how things are going.
Don't be your own god. We need a bigger vision of God. We
should have strong affections for the Lord.
-
Our Father
Our Father
Date: February 4, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: God can not be comprehended but He can be known. Attributes of
God. We don't know our Father because He's infinite. You
haven't begun to taste the infinite love the Father has for
you. In Father's family there are no favorites. We are loved
equally and totally. Everything you can imagine God is - He is
beyond. God is no respecter of persons. Where you are will
make you who you need to be for His glory. Strongest spirit
your kids will face is humanism. Has the God you serve been
created to serve you in your mind? God loves you. He made you
what you are and He's making you who you will be. God sees the
finished product.
-
Our Father's Gift Pt.1
Our Father's Gift Pt.1
Date: February 8, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Fatherhood of God. Nothing in your life happens that Father
doesn't allow and use to your good. Father doesn't love us
because we're worthy, but because He's God. He can't be
comprehended but He can be known through the Holy Spirit. What
God did 2000 years ago; He expects to do in your life today.
We need a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit
is not an "IT." He is a distinct personality. He desires to
speak to us. Nothing will happen without your pursuit. Prayer
is communion. You're not heard for your much speaking but for
your purposeful speaking. We have to ask the Holy Spirit to be
involved in our lives. We try to use our own inner voice as
the Holy Spirit. We think our will is the will of God. The
power of God works readily in the empty life. The voice of the
Holy Ghost is always in contrast to natural wisdom. The Holy
Spirit never speaks of Himself.
-
Our Father's Gift Pt.2
Our Father's Gift Pt.2
Date: February 8, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: You won't hear the voice of the Holy Spirit until you can
say, "...not my will." The liar will tell you whatever you want
to hear. The inability to deal with truth will keep you in
darkness the rest of your life. God wants to reveal your heart
to you so He can make you who He wants you to be. Maybe your
perception of yourself is not correct. Micaiah - do you want
to hear something good or the truth? There is nothing more
dangerous than believing a lie about yourself and surrounding
yourself with people who support the lie. Are you going to
trust God with your life or not? When you choose the voice of
darkness, God becomes your enemy. Father is trying to make you
in His image. Reprioritize your treasures so you can hear the
Spirit of Truth.
-
Our Father's Gift Pt.3
Our Father's Gift Pt.3
Date: February 11, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Father will see to it that you are the best you that you can
be. If you're going to be a champion, then it starts with
knowing the truth about who you are. God is perfection in a
hostile environment. We're vexed constantly. We mistake
knowledge for experience, maturity and fruit. Don't listen to
the knowledge that comes out of your head. Listen to the fruit
that comes out of your heart. You don't want to be answered
according to your idols. We're endangered by the ever present
battle with pride. God wants to bless you - why are you trying
to protect your idols from God? Your idols have a hold on you
because you've never done without. We're in shape for what
we're doing but are we in shape for what's coming? Do you know
the God of the Bible or the God you've created? The voice of
God: works with your soul, never overrides will, releases the
gift of faith and self is always present. Whenever you hear
confusion you need to back off - you're not ready to make a
decision. We're on a mission to leave a greater generation.
The Holy Spirit will always speak toward the motive and not the
circumstances. We expect perfection in every area of our life
except spiritually.
-
Our Father's Gift Pt.4
Our Father's Gift Pt.4
Date: February 15, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: God's love for you in infinite. Idealistic. We think
everything needs to be perfect in our natural life, but we
settle for good enough in our Christian walk. Most of us spend
our time praying about things God isn't speaking about. Most
of the time the voice we hear is conscience. The voice of self
is affected by external input. Our conscience is usually
dealing with things God isn't talking about. Everything with
the voice of God is eternal about the kingdom and character.
Seek First. If you're not at peace you don't believe God loves
you and can provide for you better than you can for yourself.
God doesn't want to talk about the house you live in but how
you run your household. If it's under the lordship of Jesus
you're not worried about it. We believe what we've heard about
God but we don't have a relationship.
-
Pastoral Panel Discussion
Pastoral Panel Discussion
Date: February 15, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastoral Staff
Synopsis: We want to know more than we need to obey. God won't tell you
to do something that will result in less fruit for the kingdom
or less glory for Himself. You miss God when you overlook
general revelation for specific guidance. You know you're
temperate when you can do without the other things. Why aren't
we addicted to prayer and the presence of God? We'll never be
better until we can face the truth of what we are. If you're
predominantly praying about temporal things they are idols.
-
A Heart To Pursue
A Heart To Pursue
Date: February 18, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: Are you putting forth effort? Pursuing the knowledge of God.
Seek revelation that's new to you. God reveals himself through
creation, the Word, Person of Jesus. We see God's glory in the
way Jesus lived. Are you aggressive or passive in your prayer
time? We need a deeper understanding of the simple things.
Humility. Draw courage and inspiration through saints dead and
alive. Have a heart fixed on the Lord. Don't give up in
opposition. Passion to live what you see and know. Meditate
expectantly waiting for revelation to come at any moment. He
wants us to see Him as great and glorious.
-
Loving His Appearing Pt.1
Loving His Appearing Pt.1
Date: February 22, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: How much in the forefront of our mind is the Lord's return?
Are we preparing for that place as much as the groom is? The
Lord's return should preoccupy your thoughts. Thief in the
night. What are you conscious of? There's a difference
between doctrine and expectation. Wise and foolish virgins.
To the foolish, the preparation is obligatory. Live together
with the Lord. The preparation for the wedding is not too
much - it's a joy.
-
Loving His Appearing Pt.2
Loving His Appearing Pt.2
Date: February 22, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: He gave to every man His work. We all have a task. The
servants were doing their Lord's business. Completely abandon
the self life. Everything we've gained goes back to Him. God
expects you to be a profitable servant. Self righteous people
see holiness as a way of advancement. Holiness is about being
involved in other people's lives. Jesus is looking for a bride
that has the same heart that he has. The task is to love these
brothers and sisters the way he has loved you. Prepared for
the Lord's return is in direct proportion to how much of your
life you've given away for your brother's and sisters. We all
need to do our part to prepare the bride. Laying down your
life for your children. Purify yourself. You're ready for the
rapture if you've loved your brothers. If you don't have
confidence in the day of judgment its because you're not doing
your job.
-
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.1
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.1
Date: February 25, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Obedience changes you. Disobedience is denying the Lord.
Without Jesus we produce nothing. If it is for God - then it
must be by God and nothing else is acceptable. You can't go
back and be the success that you were. Are you content in what
God has made you? You're only happy where God has put you.
We're not following God we're abiding in Him. Is God
sufficient when everything else goes away? Don't worry about
what everybody else is doing. Do you love Jesus? If you love
Him, you'll have different treasures. The amount of love you
have for the Lord will be shown in the amount of time you spend
knowing Him, declaring Him, and living for Him. Follow me.
Don't say you love Him and your house is out of order. Your
treasures are temporal. The religious Jesus is embraced while
the Biblical Jesus is rejected.
-
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.2
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.2
Date: February 29, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Not my will but thy will is what it means to be a Christian.
Our life process of sanctification is to know who we are. It's
in our momentary dying that we live. We need to die to every
area of our lives. Satan desires to sift you. Doctrine
doesn't hold up - only relationship. For faith to be perfected
it has to be tried. Once you can own up to the fact that
you're a failure then you can be a success. When you fail -
get up and finish the task. Your love correlates to your
obedience. God can affect His will with anyone that doesn't
quit. Past performance is irrelevant, only present
availability matters. If you love Jesus, you will be hated by
all natural men.
-
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.3
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.3
Date: February 29, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Jesus isn't taken up with anything that glitters. He's taken
up with you. Obedience is a choice. You can't be tempted
beyond your ability to do what's right. Not an obedience that
brings salvation, but an obedience brought about by salvation.
If you love Him, do whatever it takes to crucify your flesh.
Obedience is the consequence of regeneration. Grace is the
source of obedience not a substitute for obedience. We are no
longer slaves to sin because of heart obedience. The more you
obey, the weaker sin is in your members. Decide to obey before
the temptation. As soon as you decide to obey, Satan will try
to distract you. To will and to do. The nature of Jesus was
obedience to the Father. Jesus was not perfect because He was
God; He was perfect because he obeyed God. If you're gonna
call Him Lord, than represent Him correctly.

See His Glory at the Cross
See His Glory at the Cross
Date: March 3, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: Holiness and purity at the cross. Suffering was the just
recompense for our sins. When we look at the suffering Jesus
we see the horror of our sin. Our sin is great because our God
is great. Serve Him with gladness. Honor the Lord with your
substance. How far behind the Apostle Paul are we? We can be
blind to the magnitude of our wickedness. We're more
uncomfortable when we don't have on the right clothes than when
we don't have on Jesus. We should have a heart to represent
Jesus well. We should not take the works of our flesh
lightly. Jesus is the greatest hero the world has ever known.
-
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.4
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.4
Date: March 7, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Don't ever think you deserve to live in ease and comfort. Are
you trusting in the hands of Allstate or in the nail pierced
hands of Jesus? What is the fruit in your life that says you
love Him more than everything else? Ministry of Jesus was
summed up in the Garden of Gethsemane. Ask for wisdom. Do you
always pray for the easy way out or do you pray for wisdom?
God is working in our lives to make us dependent on Him. Its
all the stupid little decisions you're making on your own
that's causing all your big problems. Obedience is humility in
action. How do we know we're being obedient if we don't know
what's being required of us. Obedience is the primary
requisite for a successful life. It's amazing how you obey
when God brings the sufficiency. Take whatever you have and
combine it with a spirit of humility and it will be enough.
Offer everything up to God and He'll make up the difference.
You can't live on your past experiences; you must have a fresh
visitation. Momentary dependence in every situation. No
natural man will take you through the wilderness - only the
Holy Spirit. Confident in your steps being ordered by the
Lord. You're confused because you're double minded. When you
seek God with all your heart you will be filled. Have we
accessed everything available to us? God has more for us in
direct proportion to our pursuit and obedience. Survey who
you're hanging out with. The obedient experience fruit and
rest. To be obedient to God you have to war with self. There
are no answers in the world.
-
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.5
Lovest Thou Me? Pt.5
Date: March 7, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Obedience is humility in action. Be aware of what you are able
to do with God's strength. Everything you need to live a godly
life has been given to you. Humility is not denying what you
are it's yielding what you are to God. We are not all equal.
Humility is the ability to recognize what we are, thank God for
it, and yield it to Him for His glory. Redemption is stronger
than genetics. God never makes exceptions to His law. God's
faithfulness is to the obedient. We sell out cheap. We
undervalue His blood and overvalue our ease, comfort and
rights. When you choose not to obey the Word you're ashamed of
the Word. Every act of disobedience is what caused Jesus to
suffer on the cross. He's calling us to faithfulness without
compromise. You obey or you're ashamed. At the point that
disobedience becomes a lifestyle you are without a foundation.

How Adults Relate To Teens
How Adults Relate To Teens
Date: March 10, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Jeff Heglund
Synopsis: We crave intimacy. Natural man wants to sneak around. Use
your singleness for God instead of pursuing selfishness. Honor
God in our relationships. Purity ushers you into the presence
of God. Stay free in your heart and mind. Learn how to relate
to the opposite sex in the body. The wrong mate is hell on
earth. In a good marriage you're working through some pain.
There is no commitment outside of engagement. Don't take fire
into your bosom. Don't get alone. Whatever you feed will
lead. Starve the Sumo of your sex drive. Don't freak out when
you see obvious interest. Trust them until they give you a
reason not to. Give them some rope. We're pretty much
invincible except from within.

Awake Out Of Sleep Pt.1
Awake Out Of Sleep Pt.1
Date: March 14, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Know the time we're in. High time. The highest priority.
Sleep. State of confusion. Numb. People like to live in fog
because they don't like to deal with reality. The enemy loves
ambush. The enemy wants you isolated and unaware. Jacob's
ladder. You are spiritually asleep if you can't discern the
Spirit of the Lord. How long are you going to let the worship
leader worship for you? We're always betting that we have one
more chance. Are you willing to gamble that THIS time is THE
time? Walk as though you have nothing to hide. You are
spiritually awake when every moment you are aware of His
presence and His expression through you. It's easier to sleep
than fight. Sleep on. It's too late. Don't let routine lull
you to sleep. The problem is our heart. Christian life is a
life of remembrance. We need to be continually reminded to
obey. Everything I do is to prepare for the day of the Lord.
Cares of this world. We don't believe the Lord can come back
at any moment. Attend upon the Lord without distraction.
-
Awake Out Of Sleep Pt.2
Awake Out Of Sleep Pt.2
Date: March 14, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Watchfulness is a state of preparation. Watching is living for
the eternal. Watch for the Lord's return. Give strict
attention to. On guard to temptation. Satan knows which
buttons to push. Spiritual awareness only comes from the
presence of God. Only in His presence are our eyes opened.
Watch through prayer. Our salvation is continually trying to
be taken from us. Your grip should be getting tighter. Hold
fast. Hasting - keep busy preparing. Can you discern the Lord
at work in your life? Pleasures of this life. Are you dying
more every day or is your flesh being resurrected more every
day? Samson loosened his grip.
-
Task at Hand
Task at Hand
Date: March 17, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Steve Gardner
Synopsis: Preach repentance and remittance of sins. You won't speak to
every person you see. If you haven't repented, you're not
free. The task at hand is to represent Father in the right
way. There has to be an encounter with God. It's not your job
that they get saved; it's your job to tell them what He told
you to tell them. He's given us the power and authority to
pull it off.
-
The Joy of Dying Pt.1
The Joy of Dying Pt.1
Date: March 21, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: The right way to die is to lie still. The more you walk with
the Lord you will be asked to die deeper deaths. The child of
God is always ready to hear the voice of God. Every moment of
waiting is the further proving of your heart. Your highest
good is to die. God wants to find out what you're going to
withhold. Every time you go up Mt. Moriah, God goes with you.
Cast off the weights and sins. The joy was greater than the
pain. Don't go on a seek and destroy mission to the flesh.
Just keep obeying God. If the joy is not sustaining you you're
dying the wrong way.
-
The Joy of Dying Pt.2
The Joy of Dying Pt.2
Date: March 21, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Chastening is for our good. God's proving. God's exercising.
Progressive - deeper death. Self creeps in to our perceptions,
our comments. You finish your course when you're through with
this life. Finisher - one who completes to the end. God's
coming after what you love. Jehovah Jirah - the Lord will see
to it. Are you willing to give it all? Joy of knowing you're
not alone. The joy gives the strength to endure the pain.
Being reunited with the Father was the joy set before Jesus.
You can't love the Father if you don't know Him. If you don't
come to Him He can't run to you cry. Grace is sufficient.
Rejoice in afflictions. Bitterness springs up because the joy
is not set before you.
-
Judgment According to Truth Pt.1
Judgment According to Truth Pt.1
Date: March 28, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: We worship the creature more than the creator. Choose life.
Sin is either lying dormant, subdued, or being empowered in
your life. We only have the right to compare ourselves to
Jesus. A bold stand for truth will not be tolerated today. We
judge ourselves by our intentions. The word of God must be
perceived as a unit. Man is depraved. Judge people not by
their profession of Jesus but by their submission to Jesus. We
are being vexed by the self-esteem gospel and the victimized
mentality of life. They that knew God glorified Him not and
were not thankful. Everything we do must be for the glory of
God. Our obedience and love for one another indicated that
Jesus is raised from the dead. Being born will send you to
hell and being born again will get you out. All men are guilty
and without excuse.

Judgment According to Truth Pt.2
Judgment According to Truth Pt.2
Date: March 28, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Childlike faith and dependence. To walk in the moment is to
experience eternity. Reprobate mind will never receive
approval. Defecting into the kingdom of darkness. You get to
think about yourself more highly that you ought to by thinking
about yourself more often then you ought to. Be jealous for
light and truth. You may not be partaking of the world, but
are you sympathetic to it. Would you be doing it if you
could? You're being drawn to the world to the degree of how
little you've been tasting and seeing that the Lord is good.
Are we thankful?

Living in Liberty Pt.2
Living in Liberty Pt.2
Date: April 4, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Danger of vexation of the society we live in. Law of God.
Moral law. Ceremonial law. Civil law. Liberty not to sin.
Liberty to be free from the devil and a slave to God. Original
sin came from the devil convincing man he could be free.
Independence does not exist. You're under the lordship of
Satan or God. You're never in liberty until you're walking in
the truth. We're at liberty to love others. The Holy Spirit
is the author of koinonea - not party time. We are not free
from the law of love. We are free to serve one another.
Liberty is being free from the works of the flesh. Who do you
want to identify with? Liberty is being free from what anyone
thinks or cares and doing what's right. Knowledge does not
make you wise - obedience makes you wise.
-
Living in Liberty Pt.3
Living in Liberty Pt.3
Date: April 4, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Your liberty is only a choice away. We don't abstain to be
righteous. Abstinence does not make you holy. The only thing
that satisfies is Jesus. Sin means to miss the mark. Sin is
any choice that leads me to independence. Yield your members
as instruments to righteousness to be free from sin. Yield
yourselves to God. Start every day separating yourself to
God. Flesh, Carnal, Worldly are all the same. Many of the
things you wrestle with wouldn't be issues if you'd just yield
to God. You have the right to die. We are never totally
secular. Wherever we go someone is getting ministered to.
Most of the time you would not take your liberty in something
God has delivered you from. Why see how close you can get to
it without sin?

Living in Liberty Pt.4
Living in Liberty Pt.4
Date: April 7, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: All of our lives are spiritually up and down. To live in the
Spirit you will live in the community. No one can help you if
you know it all. The Spirit of independence is the epitome of
the carnal mind. Our equal rights movement is broken order.
Eve immediately wanted someone else to join her in her
independence. Adam chose Eve because he chose Adam. The
problem with carnality is independence. The law is good. The
law sets you free. Walking in the spirit is obeying the law.
I'm righteous as long as I continue to believe His blood is
sufficient. Carnal mindedness is rejecting God over natural
wisdom. What can I do to become more dependent upon God? To
become freer from the world. Who's your hero? To the degree
that you derive pleasure from something is the power it has
over you. It's not the amount of time but how important is it
to you - the value or worth you place on it. Become
spiritually minded by yielding yourself to God.

Living in Liberty Pt.5
Living in Liberty Pt.5
Date: April 11, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: The one that loves the Lord is adorning themselves with His
character. We're in the last minute primping stage. Man has
never had an original thought. You're identifying with one
kingdom or another. Every amoral choice a man makes separate
from the will of God is immoral. The moment a mind becomes
secular its carnal. If it's not of God for God it's carnal.
Yield yourselves unto God. Sin doesn't have dominion over
you. You have to choose it. Besetting sins are constant. The
carnal man will always gravitate toward sin. The more is yield
myself to God the stronger my spirit gets. We want to be
esteemed in the eyes of man. No condemnation is not no
conviction. Image is nothing - substance is everything.
Motive is everything in the kingdom. Which kingdom are you an
evangelist for?

Panel Discussion - Living in Liberty
Date: April 11, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastoral Staff
Synopsis: The secular becomes immoral when it's independent from God.
Liberty to be free to glorify God. To every wrong decision
there is a consequence. Parents can use rules as a replacement
for a relationship. We need to have our own convictions.
Follow those who are doing it right. Do you want to be a
champion for God?

Living in Liberty Pt.6
Living in Liberty Pt.6
Date: April 14, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Conscience can be weak or strong, defiled and seared.
Conscience feeds the soul. A knowing within. Ability to
choose between right and wrong. Will assists conscience as
much as conscience affects will. Word of God has to be the
primary source in building your conscience. What are your
convictions? Knowledge puffs us but love builds up. If you
think you've got it all together you're in trouble. There's
only one God. The weaker your conscience, the more dependent
you are on works. You keep it from having power over you by
having power over it. Liberty is building others up and
denying ourselves. God will give you abundant. You don't have
to take it - let God give it.

The Mark of a Worshipper Pt.1
The Mark of a Worshipper Pt.1
Date: April 18, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Worship must originate in God. God will never become the
treasure of your heart without worship. When you come into His
presence you realize how far short you fall. Imitating God. A
true worshipper has poured his heart out as God has. Worship
will affect your conversation. Foolish talk. Live a clean
life free from sin. Your tongue will tell on you. Live in the
light. Jealous for the honor of God.
-
The Mark of a Worshipper Pt.2
The Mark of a Worshipper Pt.2
Date: April 18, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: To know His glory is to know there's nothing else to live for.
The presence of God can tame your tongue. It can subdue your
flesh. When God is precious to you you'll gladly lay your life
down. Nothing keeps your heart sharp like worship. Walk
circumspectly. Worship originates in God, flows through us,
consummates in God. God gives us the grace to worship.
-
Living in Liberty Pt.7
Living in Liberty Pt.7
Date: April 21, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Your conscience can't be your guide. It has to be constantly
cleansed in the Word of God. Christianity is not easy. There
is a cross to take up every day. You were not saved to keep
you from going to Hell - you were born again to glorify Him.
The Word is intolerant of those that name Jesus but aren't
changed.
-
The Intimacy of Prayer
The Intimacy of Prayer
Date: April 25, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Primary purpose of prayer is intimacy with Father. Set the
Lord before your face. Prayer is warfare. This earth is a dry
and thirsty land. There's nothing here worth living for.
Prayer is accessing the presence of God. Are you looking every
day for the miraculous of God? We get too busy - just listen.
When you go to prayer-don't be rash with your mouth. The
purpose of prayer is not you-it's Him. Intimacy can be
fearful. Being busy in the kingdom of God can be an escape
from intimacy. Get rid of all your agendas and let God set
course. The Spirit will begin to show you what you are to do.
How painful is your prayer? Do you yearn for Him? His Spirit
confirms to me that I am His son. Prayer is not to get your
prayer list prayed.
-
I Need Thee Every Hour
I Need Thee Every Hour
Date: April 25, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: Discouragement when family leaves. We can't do anything that
counts without Jesus. Calling upon God and ask for strength.
What do you see in Jesus that you need in you? If you're
becoming unfruitful it's because you're not abiding in God
anymore. Your enemy knows there is a war going on- do you know
it? We can't be like Jesus without Jesus.
-
Watch Pt.1
Watch Pt.1
Date: April 28, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: You can't step outside your prayer closet without getting
polluted. We're living in a day where people want to be told a
lie. Be honest with the condition of your heart. Are you
prepared for the return of Jesus? Men are soliciting lies and
making heroes out of people who hate Jesus. Are you aware of
the seduction taking place in your mind? All that live godly
in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. Where is the fruit of
you affecting those around you? It's about whom you're living
your life for. The churches are full of people who think man
is good and the Bible says that man is totally depraved. Do
you know how you've been influenced by the world? Until you
live in the Word all that you believe about yourself is a lie.
Watch in all things. Loving His appearing. Watchfulness - not
just watching for Jesus but watching your own life and
condition. What is your pearl of great price?

Watch Pt.2
Watch Pt.2
Date: May 2, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: The love of many will wax cold. If you're not living in the
Spirit you will fulfill the lust of the flesh. What are you
doing to prepare to stand? How much time are you looking in
the mirror to see your condition? Grace enables you to live
victorious over the sin that used to dominate you. Look at
your doctrine - what do you believe? Watch - guard yourself
against the cares of this world. Everyday is an opportunity to
serve others. Is life a privilege? Are you thankful for where
you are in the Lord? Am I content in Jesus? There is nothing
that I'm not guilty of. We are all alike. We deserve to be
poor, sick, naked, and in Hell. We've been seduced by the
world that we need to have better. Discontentment breeds
discontentment. Who are you hanging out with? We are worthy
and acceptable by abiding in the beloved. We are worthy when
we find out that we're not - true heart revelation. Are you a
child of the light? Do you live in the light? This is who I
am - help me change. Deliverance is a choice. You choose to
be free. Discontentment and unhappiness is an indictment
against God.
-
Watch Pt.3
Watch Pt.3
Date: May 2, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: He's coming for a bride with no association with the world's
system. Lives that are not out of control. Enough Oil.
Excess. If things are getting worse shouldn't you be getting
better? The five foolish knew where to get the oil and so do
you. You spent your time on yourself rather than preparing for
His coming. What are you doing to discipline yourself and live
a life to please God?
-
Watch Pt.4
Watch Pt.4
Date: May 9, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Lovers of pleasure, ease and comfort. Being a Christian is
hard. Watchfulness is being prepared for the persecution. Do
I have sufficient oil? How disciplined are you as you watch
your heart? Watchful to bring glory to Father every day.
Foolish virgins. Momentary immediate sufficiency. Taken up
with past preparation. We take for granted the presence of
God. The over emphasis of individual worth. Muse - discipline
of meditation on God. Amusement - keeps you from the
discipline of searching your heart. The heart of the Savior is
exceedingly sorrowful in this hour that His bride departs from
Him and falls in love with His enemy. The spirit is willing
but the flesh is weak. Make your flesh strong by walking in
the Spirit. Prove that you're ready to die for the Lord by
living for Him. We have the wrong perception of who we are.
Seductiveness of discontentment. God isn't at the top of the
list - He's the whole list. We're all alike we've got to help
one another if we're going to be victorious. God will save by
those that are not so easily distracted by ease and comfort.
-
Watch Pt.5
Watch Pt.5
Date: May 9, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Watch. Look in the heavenlies for your treasure. Even as He
is pure. What you do with your hands is being placed in the
hands of Jesus. It's for Him. Excellence is a way of life.
Look at the fruit you're putting out - what's the quality?
Pattern. Who are you patterning your life after? Who's your
hero? Is everything you're doing somehow hooked into the
kingdom? You will be blind to your own condition without
humility. For every Gethsemane where we slept, For every
judgment hall where we denied Him, there is an upper room.
Humility is casting your care upon Him. Prosperity is the
judgment of God - not the blessing. It's how Antichrist will
destroy us. As a nation we don't trust in God. We trust in
money. You can't save enough money for what's coming. A man's
righteousness will sustain him.
-
Crucified Pt.1
Crucified Pt.1
Date: May 12, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Walk of daily death. What kind of effort are you putting into
this life? Splitting houses. I die daily. We are supposed to
be crucified every day. It's ugly, it's violent, it's real.
Come off your throne and climb on your cross. We promote self
in the guise of serving Jesus. When you accept Jesus as Lord
you abdicate your personal will. What are you filling your
time with? Crucify self. Make no provision for your flesh.
Dying daily is a choice. Constant warfare against the
promotion of self. We don't realize that we're rebels because
we're born that way. Self will is an offense to God. Gems of
Tozer: "The new cross does not slay the sinner; it redirects
him." "We want to be saved but we insist that Christ do the
dying." Man can share himself, sacrifice himself, but never
dethrone himself. The man being crucified is facing only one
direction. He's not going back. He has no further plans of
his own.
-
Praying With Power Pt.1
Praying With Power Pt.1
Date: May 16, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Roll your care onto the Lord so you can get back to praying
about the glory of God. How much of your prayer time is spent
just worshipping Him. Instead of praying for the specific
circumstance, pray for the glory of God. The details are His
business. Press in and seek to know His glory. If your whole
motive isn't to glorify Father your prayers are in vain. What
you pray about shows where your treasures are. Glorify God in
me. You're not praying correctly if you're leaving without
power. As soon as your life means something to you you're
lost. If you're praying for yourself more than your brothers
and sisters you're going to fall. You can only know yourself
as He reveals it to you. The purpose of our life is to know
Father. You can't come out of the presence of God without
being changed.
-
Crucified Pt.2
Crucified Pt.2
Date: May 16, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Every time you obey God Satan is tormented. If we don't move in
the name of Jesus we are not moving in the power of God. The day
is at hand when the name of Jesus will be a reproach. We are not
waiting for eternity - we are IN eternity. We are in a life of
accountability. Life is vanity without Jesus. Life is a time
span of accountability. We all need to die. God has changed
your heart - you need to change your affections. We choose the
devil and we need to choose the cross. I have what God wants me
to have. If you call Jesus Lord He will take your life over. We
can make it through anything just knowing He cares for us.
-
Crucified Pt.3
Crucified Pt.3
Date: May 19, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Choose - most of us get what we really want. It's all vanity.
Only God will satisfy. Obedience is an attitude of heart. We
abstain for His sake - to glorify Him. What will bring Jesus
more honor in my life? The devil never offered you the whole
world because he knows he could get you for less. If you are a
normal Christian, then everyone else sees you as an extremist.
You have to die - the sooner the better. The more you do it
the more natural it is. If you have an appetite to change then
you're born again. What provision have you made to be free?
How bad do you want it? Put on the new man. Spiritually
exercise to the point that it hurts the natural man.
-
Crucified Pt.4
Crucified Pt.4
Date: May 23, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: You don't have to go to Africa but your heart does. If you
want to know the power of God you have to be emptied of all
your own power. When sin begins to dominate you again, you are
not crucified. We want to experience the resurrection power
but we don't want to experience the humility of death. Our
decisions every day keep our children from the cross. You
can't be risen until you've died. One indication is the
affection in the heavenlies. Are you content in the Lord? You
can have a lot of fun but only ministry is gratifying. What
has your heart? What has crept in and choked out the Word of
God? Sin is not to be dominant in our lives. Crucify the
independent Spirit. Pursuit of vain glory. Is our daily life
about glorifying God? Vain glory- misconception of who we are
and the praises of men. How is your appetite to become more
humble?
-
I Need Thee Every Hour Pt.2
I Need Thee Every Hour Pt.2
Date: May 26, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: We have neediness for God to give us Spiritual Sight. How
strong is your faith? How easily can you be shaken? Faith is
trust - reliance on a person. If you pray little, you depend
little on God. Prayer is communion with God. Condemnation
comes from legalism and self-righteousness. Depending upon God
for Sight. When we see spiritual things the world is not as
enticing.
-
Praying With Power Pt.2
Praying With Power Pt.2
Date: May 30, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Life, Joy and Peace are in Jesus. Your Father is doting over
you to make sure the maximum fruit is born. We are to be IN
the Lord. We will be chastened every day until we get to
Heaven. Branches that don't bear fruit can still be very
busy. The branch is not producing acceptable fruit. The
deeper cleansing that takes place is the surrender of your self
will. We often fall into the trap of serving ourselves and
using God as an excuse. God has a plan for your life - you
don't have to come up with your own. Our primary focus in
prayer is to be more like Father.
-
Praying With Power Pt.3
Praying With Power Pt.3
Date: May 30, 2004 Sun PM

Synopsis: Father will hunt you down to find out your motive for following
Him. Deny yourself. The power comes when you have the right
motive. The heart is wicked. Lust is insatiable. The power
from the vine only flows when you are surrendered. Shaking.
Though He slay me. Shaking will purge out selfishness.
Satan's watching you to see what causes you to turn back.

Praying With Power Pt.4
Praying With Power Pt.4
Date: June 2, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Those who come with selfish motives will be shaken out. A
heart of repentance comes from the Lord alone. It is
impossible to turn your own heart. If you don't have victory
you need seek God. Godly sorrow is the fuel for repentance.
What do you have going on in your heart that you can't see?
God can not and will not give repentance to a heart that is not
surrendered. The lion knows to devour the people whose hearts
are not fully surrendered. Remember Lot's wife. Don't look
back. Divided loyalties will keep you from finding
repentance. What sin you play with on your heart will become a
stumbling block in your life. Why do you want to be a part of
this vine?
-
Praying With Power Pt.5
Praying With Power Pt.5
Date: June 6, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Scriptures are not just for instruction, but for imparting
power. There is no spiritual need that you have that the
scripture doesn't answer. The knowledge of God is the conduit
through which His power flows through us. If you want to
encounter God it's going to come through His word. God wants
you to study the word to know His heart and thoughts. How
empty are you willing to become to be used of God? He wants a
bride that is completely consumed with His life. God is not to
be an addition to your life He is to be your life. The word of
God is to impart life. It's not about education - it's about
empowering. Imbibe the heart of God.
-
Praying With Power Pt.6
Praying With Power Pt.6
Date: June 6, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: The glory of God resides in our hearts as His word is written
on our hearts. Bearing fruit is to be consumed for someone
else. Holiness means you're devoted to God - not yourself.
Holiness is giving your life away to God. Our prosperity has
robed us of our dependence on each other. You job is to bear
one another's burdens. As an expression of my service to God I
serve you.
-
Harvest Time
Harvest Time
Date: June 13, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: The church's primary mission is to show the glory of God and
exhibit His presence. Man is not the focal point - God is.
Effective evangelism is sharing with people how good God has been
to you. A man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man
with an argument. An evangelist heralds God. It is a
compulsion. If you are full of the Holy Spirit you will be a
witness. Ye that make mention of the Lord keep not silent. How
much do you talk about Jesus? The greatest ministry is your
personal testimony. If you can't live for the Lord now how do
you expect to handle persecution? You can only love to the
degree of revelation of how you have been loved. The key
ingredient is availability.
-
Run to the Rest Pt.1
Run to the Rest Pt.1
Date: June 16, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Rest of God. The ability to know that God cares. God has made
provision to refresh you. If you are not being persecuted you
probably are not living godly enough. You'll have to get rid of
your agenda. The ability to live with out an agenda is the
secret to living in the rest of God. God knows what you have
need of. Anxiousness stems from discontentment. Lucifer is the
originator of self promotion. Discontentment. Desire to excel.
Only yoking with Jesus will give you rest. To be discontent is
to say God doesn't care. When the grace of God is working in
you, you will have rest. The promise of God is discerned by
peace. The awareness of His presence comes from obedience.

Father's Day
Date: June 20, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Training children. Discipline does not come natural. We are not
patient enough. Don't tell your children how to pray - show them
how to pray. Hands on. Whatever you are doing make your child a
part. Admonition - to put into the mind by repetition.
Brainwashing. Instruct by example and repetition. Be
involved. Is your life one of consistency? Are you the same all
the time? Are your judgments the same? I am not looking for my
children to love me this week; I want my children to love me ten
years from now. Be able to yield in your will but not God's
will. Character development is a personal decision. Bless them
with your presence. A child's glory is their father. Father
does not require performance of you. You can never show too much
compassion and mercy. Teach your children to love chastening.

Run to the Rest Pt.2
Run to the Rest Pt.2
Date: June 20, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: The promised land is a victorious life. Not everyone brought out
of Egypt embraced the promise. Unbelief is an evil heart. God's
ways are for your good and past your knowing. This life is not
going to be without opposition. We don't judge the promises or
presence of God by our current environment. Most of us want the
miracle without the adversity. Has taking any of those pills
caused you to believe in less than the finished work of Jesus?
Faith is trust, reliance and assurance on God's promises. Act -
I'm a doer of the word. Faith is the heart assurance that what
God has promised He's going to finish. Why would you doubt God
for anything when He's transformed your life?

Synopsis: You will err in your heart if you don't know God's ways. You'll
be deceived. Labor to enter God's rest. Good without God is
evil. The Bible is foolishness to the natural mind. If you live
in fear you're provoking God. Rest brings us to know that men
walking in faith never fail. God is the source. Our lives are
not lives of fate and chance. We're making decisions to walk
differently than the rest of the world that it might be known
that He is God. When was the last time you trusted only God?

Count It All Joy Pt.1
Date: June 27, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Love is painful. The greater the love, the greater the pain.
How do you do under trials and pressures? The spiritual man
looks to the eternal realm. Count it all joy. We have no
control over our life. A trial is anything that brings you to a
decision to lay your life down for God's will. What does God
think about me? Chastening is more powerful than your besetting
sin. No matter how bad it gets, we are never outside of the
Father's love and care. God invests His love in you for the
eternal. We count it joy because God is in control. Trials
prepare you for the coming of Jesus. The trial is to make you
weak to perfect His strength in you.

good for you. All things work together for the good of those
that love Him. Divine favor. God is able to establish us in
this world's system without using their methods. When you're
under the pressure, who do you go to? You don't need the
solution as bad as you need the patience. Are you ready to go to
war, or are you trying to lay low? The rest is the awareness and
confident presence in the fiery furnace.

Synopsis: Spirit of excellence is in laboring unto the Lord. There will be
a new heaven and a new earth. Man can't destroy this planet and
man can't save it. Live in the moment. You have too much when
it's robbing your peace and contentment. Stuff won't satisfy.
Rest is the ability to walk in faith. Our hearts are out of
control because our minds are out of control. The word renews
our mind and refreshes us. Do you make more preparation to go to
the beach than the fortifying of your heart? Thankfulness
doesn't need more. Not trusting in God is an evil heart. We
want the promise without the affliction, but that's where the
fourth man is.

Choose! Pt.1
Choose! Pt.1
Date: July 7, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Sovereignty and free will. He's given us the grace to make the
right choices and not faint. Make the right choice, and don't
give up. God has given you free will to choose to honor Him.
What you don't understand - trust that it's working for your
good. You are where you are and you are what you are because you
choose to be. Our choice is to honor God or honor ourselves.
Lowliness of mind. You make the wrong choices by pride and
selfishness. Any exaltation that is not of God is sin. If
you're not doing God's will its because you choose not to. God's
power is wanting to work in you for righteousness but you're
suppressing it by your choices. Choose not to sin. We're giving
too much credibility to sin. Change your surroundings to
liberate yourself to obey.

one another. Mercy is a delivery of goodness. You should have
guilt when you do wrong - and you should be delivered from guilt.
How am I treating others in relation to how God treats me? To
focus on the sins in others lives is offensive to God. You don't
need to hammer someone who's already crushed. Choices follow value.

on all earth dwellers. Seek first the kingdom. Provide for

Covetousness Pt.1
Covetousness Pt.1
Date: July 21, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: If you're discontent, it's because you love things. If there's
no contentment then there's no godliness. What gives you worth?
Don't put too much value on your stuff. Let God put the value
on it and supply it. Your motivation was lust. Covetousness is
a powerful spirit. Gratification of self worth. Over-evaluation
of self. Spirit of envy. Don't covet your neighbor's stuff.
It's not about the abundance, but the trust you put in them.
Covetousness is not just greed or lust but what we will do to
acquire it. Unjust plunder. Immoral, illegal means of
acquiring. Perceiving everything I have as inferior to what I
don't have. Covetousness is an indictment against God.
-
Covetousness Pt.2
Covetousness Pt.2
Date: July 25, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Wanting to be exalted or recognized. I deserve the best. We get
caught up with abundance when we should be focusing on needs. Be
rich towards God. Treasures in Heaven. A man's life consists
not in the abundance of what he has. Abundance of things vs.
faith. Don't trust in the abundance; trust in the Source. We
want to measure our work by people's recognition of it.
Abundance that God is not the source of. Anything we possess out
of selfishness. A spirit that will get it at any cost.
Overvalue something. Long for. Sigh. Guard yourself from
covetousness by putting a watch over your eyes. It's not how
much you have but how much you have to have it and that you think
you deserve it. Covetousness is worship of self.
-
Covetousness Pt.3
Covetousness Pt.3
Date: July 25, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Idolatry of worshipping self and believing that you deserve more.
No peace. If you're discontent, your kids will be discontent.
Greed affects your house. There is a power to the deceitfulness
of riches. It promises to satisfy. The Trust in the uncertain
riches is sin. The fact that you are not rich toward God.
Selfishness. Take no thought for tomorrow. Anxiety. Riches
can't satisfy.
-
Covetousness Pt.4
Covetousness Pt.4
Date: July 28, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Covetousness doubts the goodness and justice of God. Pride is
the sister of covetousness. We need to be content in our
godliness. Covetousness is idolatry - not worship of the item
but worship of self. Godliness with contentment makes you the
richest man on earth. There is no greater theft than to steal
from God the love and the dependence He deserves. Nothing will
rob the power of God any quicker than covetousness.

Covetousness Pt.5
Covetousness Pt.5
Date: August 8, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Life does not consist of the abundance of things. Our whole
quest is to be like God. Are you rich towards God? Are you
content in the progress? If you're redirecting your covetousness
into the religious it won't satisfy either. Never more satisfied
than when I died the most. Our hypocrisy keeps us bound in our
covetousness. Fear of God. Treasure. Self promotion. To
promote self is to deny God. When was the last time your kids
had to believe God for something? Being rich toward God is about
choice. Endure.
-

of this world. Fear of lack. We think that we are required to
provide the necessities and God will provide the abundance, but
God must provide everything. Covetous spirit is not just wanting
more. It's being unthankful for what you have. Lack of

blessed you to bless others. Don't make your goal to be rich.
Make it to be content.

kill you. Hostility. Spirit of Antichrist. Disobedience to God
will give you a lifetime of trials. God will cut you off. Lot
was becoming like the world and didn't realize it. Are you

people in the world don't have any outward manifestation of
pride. They refuse to do what God told them to do. Obedience to
the word of God. Living to honor God. We obey to say thank you.

Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Rejoice in the Lord. Find all that you are in Him. People that
glory in other people's flesh. Father wants to clip every last
tentacle that you have to this world. God's not looking for
perfect people. He's looking for perfect hearts. What are you
trusting in? We need God. Counting the loss. Once you taste
the excellency of Jesus it changes your life. Visitation of God
can't be duplicated or initiated. Are you pursuing God to the
degree of Jacob wrestling? Some people are always under
discipline because they never change. The whole purpose of the
chastening is to bring them to the visitation. You're not having
the visitation because you're not receiving the chastening. God
reveals Himself to those that have surrendered.

goodness. Heaven will make your jaw drop. Better possession and
a lasting possession. Don't throw away your faith. You have
need of endurance. Hope Patiently waiting for one of God's

we cast away our faith. Joy in heaven is that we brought glory
to God and we touched other lives.

Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.1
Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.1
Date: September 8, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Knowing who God is. You never truly comprehend God but you can
apprehend Him. If you limit God to your understanding, then your
faith doesn't work. True biblical faith does not make God answer
to you. Faith is not a force - God is the force. Faith is the
understanding that God is able to do what He's said. Trust,
reliance and assurance that God is good. God is always doing
things we don't understand. It's not about the circumstances but
about the consequences of the circumstances. Good is what
glorifies God. You know God to the degree that you abhor
yourself. The greatest revelation we can have of God is in the
person of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Every thing you're
trying to get out of is His working good in you.
-
Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.2
Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.2
Date: September 12, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: God is incomprehensible. He's greater than your understanding of
Him. Our faith is hindered by not knowing God. We don't just
need to celebrate God; we need to worship. Knowledge of God
comes from creation, the written Word and the living Word. You
haven't even come close to knowing all there is to know about
God. The finite can never comprehend the infinite. The greatest
of all sins is idolatry - a misrepresentation of God. Our life
purpose is to glorify God. We need to have the eternal
perspective instead of being encumbered with all of life's cares.
God is greater than His attributes. Idolatry is expressed every
time we demonstrate self will. Absence of self makes God big.
Most Christians have created God in their own image. Lack of
thanksgiving will cause vain imaginations.
-
Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.3
Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.3
Date: September 12, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: If you can understand it, you're not walking in faith. God's
attributes are all infinite. God has chosen to relate to man in
three distinct ways. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are
separate manifestations of one God. Jesus never ceased to be God
as He was manifested as man. Jesus showed what God meant man to
be and one day will be. All that exists came into existence by
the Word - the person. The Word is eternal; the Son was created.
God was not lonely - He doesn't need us. His application of His
promises will always be infinitely better than yours. We will
never learn to live by faith as long as we try to hold God in
obligation to us.
-
Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.4
Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.4
Date: September 15, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: You can't be like what you don't know. God is all-powerful and
omnipotent. God is fully accessible. God is the only free
being. Love doesn't just give you what you want when you want
it. Get God out of your image. God is nothing like you. If God
is all-powerful, why the compulsion to help Him out? God knows
what's best for you. God has a plan for your life to glorify
Him. We don't come to Him for His power; we come to him for His
person. Man will sacrifice but he will not dethrone. How big is
your God? The problem with Christianity in Churches today is
it's all about man. Our problem is we think we deserve all the
glory. You can't get God's power and use it against His purpose.
Disobedience defies the power of God.

Forgiven and Cleansed
Forgiven and Cleansed
Date: September 19, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Walking in light. For the sake of fellowship we go to the light.
Benefits of forgiveness are great but the cost of cleansing is
death. Cleansing from the power of sin. Your heart can be
cleansed and purified. The renewing of our minds is the turning
of our hearts. Make sure your change is internal and not just
external. The cleaner you become the more of God you'll see.
You'll never change until you see your sin like God sees it.
Your Spirit is only as clean as your last act of obedience. Your
victory over sin comes only from dying. Jesus was your access to
death. Some people are holy and some just wannabe holy. The
cross is the power to live a victorious life.

Why We Don't Lose Heart Pt.2
Date: September 19, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: The more real our Heavenly reward is, the more effective it will

aspects of His glory. Riches of His grace.

Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.5
Faith, Sovereignty and the Knowledge of God Pt.5
Date: September 22, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: God is absolutely right and just and good. Faith is always
walking to the full extent of what God has revealed at this
moment. When God doesn't make sense, we still praise Him. God
is good. You are right where God want you. God is able to
deliver you from your sins. We need to step back and enjoy the
wisdom of God. Everything He does is right, and His timing is
right. There is purification to the believer but not
condemnation. You think you know what you need but the Spirit
knows your heart. Everything that happens in my life is making
me more like Jesus. God wants to be glorified more than He wants
us to be gratified. You can only be delivered to the degree that
you believe God understands you.
-
The Word in My Heart Pt.1
The Word in My Heart Pt.1
Date: September 26, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: We need to have a craving for the Word of God at all times. When
the intense craving is gone you stop growing. Is the Word of God
a burning fire in your bones? The Word of God brings a fear of
God. If you're not living for Heaven, you're living for the
wrong thing. How hard are you laboring to be accepted of Him?
How can you stand in pride before the one who humbled Himself to
die for you? Are you worthy to be accepted of Him? Heaven and
Hell are not real to you unless you are compelled to tell people.
God requires obedience through love. Pleasing Father should be
the obsession of your heart. If you're not called by His name,
the Word makes you miserable. The Word of God won't bring any
fear until it's in your heart. We no longer live a life of
habitual sin. Don't let your heart be distracted or you'll
forget how to fear the Lord.

Let Your Heart Be Tender Pt.1
Let Your Heart Be Tender Pt.1
Date: September 26, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: Through the development of relationship our carnality is known.
Have a forgiving heart. God speaks to us through others and
through circumstances. Common responses to reproof: I just
don't see it; that doesn't apply to me; but you did this. Things
that cause a heart to be hard: unforgiveness, self sufficiency,
bitterness, self will, fear, stubbornness. God is patient with
you as you are growing. His goodness leads us to change. Why
aren't we more thankful for people who speak into our lives?
-
Let Your Heart Be Tender Pt.2
Let Your Heart Be Tender Pt.2
Date: September 29, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Chuck LaRock
Synopsis: God is patient with us as we grow. You will make progress when
you seek after God even if you don't sense His presence. It's a
precious thing that we get to hear God's voice. God emphasizes
today. Humility is the capacity to see things as they really
are. If you're truly humble, you have a receptive heart. A
tender heart seeks out help. A hard heart is a self righteous
heart. A tender heart has a grateful willingness to receive.
Heartfelt fear toward the will and purposes of God. If we love
the will of God we'll be willing to die to our own agenda. We
must recognize the body.

The Word in My Heart Pt.2
The Word in My Heart Pt.2
Date: October 3, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Obedience of self-righteousness. Keep - to guard something
precious. Righteousness is nothing you establish; it's
something
you submit to. The only kind of obedience acceptable to Him is
what he births in you. Nothing is acceptable to Him that is not
initiated in Him. Obedience is birthed in the Word and in
prayer. Knowing Him is what produces spiritual growth. You
can't do it; it must be Christ in you. You must surrender your
heart, your life, your will. Seek the Lord's face. Make right
choices. My striving is to know Him. For you to be a child of
God and not know what your Father is speaking to you is
shameful.
-
The Word in My Heart Pt.3
The Word in My Heart Pt.3
Date: October 3, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Biblical obedience. No matter how spiritual you've become,
God's
holiness is infinitely greater. It's a life of repentance. A
true child of God assumes he does something wrong before he
assumes he's done something right. The child in the light is
always aware of his need. Worst possible deception is self
deception. We obey enough to stay a part of the club - but not
total obedience. God sees partial obedience as no obedience.
Partial obedience always seems logical. Partial obedience will
always put the blame on someone else.

Chaos or Community? Pt.1
Chaos or Community? Pt.1
Date: October 6, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: We are absolutely invincible from without. Satan can't destroy
your family but you can. We're a nation of idleness -
discretionary time, discretionary money. We deal with the secret
power of lawlessness, selfness, and individualism - we're to be
looking for community. Look for order. Today, authority answers
to the individual. Are we living in chaos or community. The
only thing to cause the Spirit of God to depart from you is the
spirit of rebellion. Do you set the criteria for who you're
going to honor or does God? There is no redemption without
order. Devaluing of authority and community. Strife can destroy
us. We can hide strife by calling it diversity. Even if you
become a king somebody placed you there.

Chaos or Community Pt.2
Date: October 10, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Spirit of Self-exaltation in the homes. Your kids don't have to
see it; they can feel it. You're not a gossip - but you're a
rebel. God can bless your mess. He can take the mess your house
is in and work it out for good. How do you perceive your role?
Men- you are responsible even though you are not capable. The
first admonition is to the people in the subordinate role. Right
is honoring God. Right is no rebellion in heart or action.
Every time your kids argue with you and talk back, they might as
well be cussing God. Take it personally for God. We overvalue
our worth. Our bodies are to honor God, not be led by the fad of
society. Fashion is determined by the father. Being like Jesus
is cool. The Lord will not forsake His people. Order and Honor
are the premier requisites for the presence of God. Ladies -
you're not wired to rule. Men - you we're not created to run and
hide.

Chaos or Community Pt.3
Date: October 17, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: We are subject to a higher power. In our minds, justice
originates in ourselves. We are naturally rebels. The law
doesn't need to be harsh, but it needs to be constant. The key
to the law is that it has to be applied. To not follow the order
is to bring a reproach on God. It's a community effort to
destroy the spirit of rebellion. You are where it most pleases
God. The life of faith is the life of submission. Authority
must be transparent. Missing the blessings of God by the width
of our head. Anything that breaks order is rebellion. What was
the last thing God told you to do?

Preparation for Warfare
Preparation for Warfare
Date: October 24, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Ron Zarou
Synopsis: There are some things in our lives we need to forget and not hold
on to. It takes work to keep our mind stayed on the Lord. We
need to renew our reliance on Him. We cannot be what He's called
us to be without Him working it in us. The fruit of unbelief is
disobedience. We need to fortify ourselves in this hour. The
blessing and curse of prosperity. We are aliens - foreigners.
Take up the shield of faith. Make a conscious choice to tell
yourself no. Recognize self. We can't trust in what we know; we
have to trust in Him. Choose to decrease more so He can fill you
more. Greatness trough humility. The greatest hindrance to
knowing Him more is pride. Quitting is not an option for the
true believer. The flesh will always give you the benefit of the
doubt. However bad you think you are, you're worse. Even when
God's trying to kill us, we're still trying to negotiate. You
get into the Word, and that brings your thought life back into
control. What is your value on the presence?

He Is Worthy
He Is Worthy
Date: October 31, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: You can't be almost a virgin. He's coming for a pure bride. The
greatest danger to the church today is religion - the deluded
Christianity. Association with the world. The measure of a true
Christian is in how much time they are spending making themselves
ready for the coming of the Lord. Much of Christianity today is
man centered. Righteousness isn't how good we are, but how right
we are. A true believer is a worshipper of God. Christianity
today is about self help. To worship the creature is idolatry.
Worthship- how much worth do you put on something. What do I put
too much value on instead of God? Satan wants to be worshipped.
It's about how we fit into the body. Pearl of great price.
Don't let Satan steal God's glory from you.

Helpmeets
Helpmeets
Date: October 31, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastors Scott and Heglund
Synopsis: How do we go to the next step? Rejected doesn't make you a
reject. Words are powerful. We are to have a spouse because
it's not good to be alone. No man has ever been ready to be
married. Scripture doesn't say you have to have a house and car
paid for. Men are lacking something. The woman was made to
complete the man. The perfect marriage is based on two
individuals seeing who can be the least selfish. Some of the
best marriages are two people growing up together. To strengthen
each other for the coming of the Lord to build the kingdom.
Godly character - Godly seed. Stop lying to yourself about your
list. Who can make me better for the kingdom of God? All of
your issues are non-issues biblically. Be wherever the person
you're interested in is. There is no possession until there is
an engagement. Do you really want God's will for your sister?
Your emotions are not yours to give away. Don't get emotionally
involved - get spiritually involved. Love is a choice, a
consequence. It's not chemistry; it's not the fantasy. Don't
marry outside of who you are.

A House Divided
Date: November 3, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: We're important as parts of a whole. Guard against anything that
separates us as individuals. Gifts of the Spirit. The enemy is
trying to gain access. The natural man overvalues his
preferences. There is no greatest - there are parts of a whole.
Fitly joined. What effort are you making to become lost in the
whole? Are we trying to make the person next to us better? Pay
whatever price is necessary to keep what we have. Schism is the
method of Satan.

The Mark of the Christian
The Mark of the Christian
Date: November 7, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Love is the mark of the Christian. Any relationship built on
love cannot fail. Agape places value on the object because of
the presence of God. Agape originates in God and is for the
purpose of glorifying God. There is no greater tool of
evangelism than a good marriage. Agape is not common- it's
sacred, unique, for God alone. Phileo - brotherly love - of the
same blood. Eros- erotic love - chemistry, hormones. Most of
the time it's lust, shallow. No greater love than to lay your
life down for your friends. You don't know love if you're not
doing it. The greatest love is to die to self. The church is to
give us the vehicle to love one another. You have to love the
Jesus in the people even if you can't see it clearly yet. Most
people will reject agape. Are you willing to love beyond your
knowledge, your feelings, your will?

Panel Discussion - What God Has Joined Together
Date: November 10, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastoral Staff
Synopsis: No exclusiveness, no possessiveness. You love those you marry.
Make sure your commitment is based on agape. Weddings - marriage
- is it sacred. Marriage is what God has joined. Institution of
marriage as opposed to the sanctity of marriage. Unbelieving
relatives. The only marriage God recognizes is between two
believers (or when a married unbeliever becomes born again).
Mingling the sacred and the secular.

Colossians 3
Colossians 3
Date: November 14, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Seek those things which are above. We love by choice. We obey
by choice. Take the stand and say "I WILL obey." On the other
side of the pain of death is the grace to endure. We are a
feeling oriented society. Make the choice and the grace will
manifest. He provides the desire to obey and the ability to
obey. Sins of passion. Self gratification. Sins of
relationship. Love has to have a supernatural source. The more
you know your heavenly father the more you will love your
brothers and sisters. You can't know God without being
transformed by His love. The natural man looks for what I can I
get out of it. The spiritual man looks at how much God paid for
me. Fruits of the Spirit. If you're not renewing your spirit
man daily you're not able to love. Love holds it all together.

One Heart, One Mind
One Heart, One Mind
Date: November 14, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Richard Miller
Synopsis: Never any place for division because of strife or vain glory.
Prepare yourself for service so you can be a vessel unto honor.
You need to love your brothers and sisters in spite of them. We
will never reject anybody because of their sins. Assurance of
God's love. Doctrine is essential to unity. Continue
steadfastly, earnestly. Unity of doctrine produces a divine
order. When there's order and unity the Spirit of God can flow
freely. If our hearts are to be knit, we have to be together.
Find your gift in the body, and do it to the glory of God. There
are no One-Man-Shows in the kingdom. Emphasis is the body,
community, teamwork. Use your tongue for good - to edify. If
you treasure your relationship - don't let any corrupt
communication come out of your mouth. Are you working to become
lost in the community?

Synopsis: Abundance of joy overflowed in liberality. Give according to
what you have. Of their own accord. We should be willing to be
made poor so others could be made rich. The people rejoiced
because they had offered so willingly. When you see people give
liberally, you know it's a work of God.

Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.1
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.1
Date: November 21, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Individual holiness; individual pursuit; corporate
responsibility. How taken up are we today with the holiness of
God. What are we doing to prepare the tabernacle of God to
receive a visitation? God's presence manifests to the degree of
your preparation for Him. Holiness for the purpose of knowing
God. God doesn't need man - man needs God. Only sin makes us
want to leave the presence of God to fellowship with man. Every
historical event of consequence is man's resisting God's
reconciliation. God wants to quiet your mind. Re-establish your
eternal value system; redirect your time, energy and priorities
in building the house of God and not your own ideologies. We
each have direct access and direct responsibility to pursue God.
You can't just offer to God what you feel like. Progression into
the presence of God.

Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.2
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.2
Date: November 21, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Grace: Not works but pursuit. You can't come any way you want to
God. The right to accessing him is contingent upon pursuing Him.
We access Him to be like Him. God demands preparation and
sanctification. Setting apart our lives. The standard is
perfection. Your will is in question. Embrace the anointing of
God, and be all we can be. How satisfied have we been leaving
without experiencing the presence of God? In your commitment to
God, have you brought too much? You only encounter God in the
mountain. You don't have to initially see Him yourself - just
hang out with the people who have. Everyone who sought the Lord
went out unto the Tabernacle. God is not common. He's sacred -
He's set apart. Hang out with the right folks. Have you brought
more than enough to make the rest of us better Christians?
Holiness is not the burden of the Lord - it's the privilege of
personal death that He might be seen in us. Don't you want to
give it all? When you are willing to give it all, God will tell
you when it's enough.

Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.3
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.3
Date: November 28, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Need to sanctify and make holy the dwelling place of God. What
can I do to make my life purer so God can work in me? You can't
access God with sin in your life.
Strength and power of sin. Sin holds unregenerated man
No flesh was to be seen in approaching God. Pray until you've
encountered God. God will visit us because we desire it.
Miracles won't change you; only decisions will change you. The
tabernacle is not seeker friendly - you enter by death. God will
not visit your flesh.
Brazen altar is an attitude of hatred for sin. It starts with
acknowledging sin in your life. Altar of repentance needs to be
approached before the laver of sanctification. There is no
second rate Christian. Burnt offerings were offered on the
altar. Repentance is required. We're to fear God, but we are no
longer afraid of Him. Fear of God will cause you to draw closer
to Him. The altar is not polluted by the mundane; the mundane is
sanctified by the altar.
-
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.4
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.4
Date: November 28, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Do you really want God to visit you? There's just as much grace
and mercy in the old covenant as in the new. Once for all. The
gift of grace allows us to be thankful. What will happen if I
offer myself up completely to God? Lose control. The more you
draw into Christ likeness the more you will be criticized. Grace
does not give you the privilege to vaunt your flesh. Grace is
God's ability working in you to obey. Sin is transgressing the law
God is jealous of every glance you make to something that is
attractive to you besides him. You're not going to escape your
cross. There is a sanctifying process that God requires in our
lives. We minimize sin in our lives. Jesus always required more
under grace than the law required
Preparing a better house for God. Being aware of how sin
accumulates. We are no better than we used to be - just better
off. Sin has not been annihilated but it's been overcome. We
can miss who we really are because we've lived so long in the
Spirit. How much of our life is taken up with thanksgiving to God?

Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.5
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.5
Date: December 1, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Where we are isn't sufficient. We are debtors. Never believe
you deserve it and never lose sight that you posses it. We will
not exhaust the mandate be ye holy. Sanctification is a life
process. You haven't offered it all up yet. Deny yourself.
Never having to make another decision to obey God. The laver was
made from mirrors. Before you can approach God you have to see
who you are. Grace and faith does not mean there's not action to
be taken. Total consecration - the offering up of our will to
God. The flesh has to die. Is your fire going out? With out
time, and study in the Word the altar will never be prepared.
You have to take care of the blemishes. Make the decision to
die. Sin and trespass offering. Are you making the same effort
to change or have you added a fifth part to it. There are
consequences to our trespasses. Liberty is more important than
justice. We're still in bondage to besetting sin because we've
never added the fifth part.

Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.6
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.6
Date: December 5, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Jealousy for holy living. Bear the iniquity of the sanctuary.
Priests were separate. The most holy things went to the priests.
God deserves your best. Being the head of the house is a high
calling. Don't settle for anything but the best in your
household. You have to take the daily stop at the laver. The
consequence of neglecting the holiness of God is death. The
altar dealt with sin after you commit it - the laver deals with
sin before. The laver is seeing God instead of self. If all the
mirrors were consecrated to make the laver - no one could look at
themselves. Sanctification directly addresses vanity. Cleanse
yourself. How much are you seeing to it that God is honored in
your life? If there is no fear of God there will be no
perfecting holiness in our lives. Double mindedness is having a
different standard other than the Word of God. Clean through the
Word of God. Don't get caught up in your besetting sins. Get
caught up in God and where you're going.

Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.7
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.7
Date: December 5, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: It's not about the building - it's about the visitation. If I'm
going to be a master in the spirit realm, I'm going to have to be
temperate in the temporal. It becomes sin when it has control.
True sanctification is to become servant of all. We are too
concerned with the outward. Lawful is what brings glory to God.
Those that are joined to the Lord become one with Him. Pray in
tongues to build yourself up. Stir up the spirit. You are not
your own. What are you doing to become intimate with the Lord?
The Lord is only going to be intimate with his wife. Ladies dress
for your husband--not other ladies or other man. Husbands; are you
making sure your wives are being washed with the word. What are
you putting your eye on? Distraction by attraction.
-
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.8
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.8
Date: December 8, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: If you're dragging the body down--God will oppose you. The rights
we have are to lay our lives down for our friends. We are going
to purify our temple by realizing that this world's wisdom is
foolishness. How valuable is the world's wisdom to you? The
cleansing is preparatory for glorification. How sound is your
doctrine? God is not tolerant of sin and a polluted house--false
doctrine. You know you're going to sin before you sin--it's a
choice. The wise man habitually does the word. Do your decisions
make you look foolish to the world? There's no greater deception
than self deception. Habitual choosing the Word over the world's
philosophy. What we believe we perceive to be truth. Self
deception applies the Word based on perception. The only way to
keep from being self deceived is by humbling yourself and not
believing your perception is truth.

Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.9
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.9
Date: December 12, 2004 Sun AM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Preparing a tabernacle. Cleansing the house of God. God is
cleaning up His church to present himself a spotless bride.
God's calling us to be a people disciplined. The laver is where
we cleanse ourselves. The altar is where we offer our lives to
God. The laver was to wash the sacrifice to make it acceptable.
When you see the Lord you know what you look like - ugly. We
live in a world of relative ness governed by situational ethics.
The wisdom of the world will defile you. Don't be unequally
yoked in any area. The fruit is independence from God. Apart
from God we're gonna die. Every advance of technology is man's
attempt to live free from God. We need to be temperate more than
abstainers. Before you go with what you sense, go to the laver
and see what's really there. Many of us are pure in our bodies
but not pure in our hearts. The most important thing we can do
is put away all self glory.

Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.10
Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.10
Date: December 12, 2004 Sun PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Cleanse ourselves. It's your responsibility. Everything has
been done. The heart is deceitful. Incurably weak. Labor to
enter into the rest. To study. The church has gone into the
marketing business. The customer is always right. The more you
stay away from the Word of God the more susceptible you become to
that force. Study - to be a diligent doer. The more you do the
Word of God the greater your rest, peace, assurance will be. The
Word discerns your motives. The more you do, the more revelation
you get, the more grace you receive. We're strengthened by our
doing. The more obedient I am the more sensitive I become to
doing things right. You get free by doing. If you're wise in
this world's system you're deceived. You believe that your
intent to change is change - repentance is change. Self
deception. Don't you want God glorified instead of you gratified?

Preparing God's Dwelling Place Pt.11
Date: December 15, 2004 Wed PM
Teacher: Pastor Star R. Scott
Synopsis: Wholly given to God. Nothing left to the self life. If the Word
is in your heart your motives should constantly be revealed to
you. Access of the holy place where the real presence is. Table
of Shewbread. Altar of incense. Lamp. Bold access by the
blood. When you encounter God you're changed. The Sabbath is
the rest of God. The Holy place had to be entered once a week.
God was looking for a specific fragrance of humility. Table of
showbread means bread of presence. The Bread is a perpetual
trusting God every day for provision. We can only honor God by
faith. God is the provision.

Synopsis: Your decision to press toward God is the cleansing of the laver.
Is what you have from God available back to Him? What are you
doing with your tabernacle for God to show Himself through you?
Why would you be hungry for anything if Jesus satisfies all? If
you want to be at peace don't have anything to lose. Fresh
encounter with the presence of God. God is light. We are
children of light. The greatest darkness is in the church today
- self deception. We need illumination every day. You can't
stop at the altar if you think you're all right. What are you
doing daily for God?

Synopsis: Your life is the dwelling place of God. Altar of incense is all
about giving glory to God. Prayer is about worship. How much of
our time and energy is about bringing glory to God? Offering up
our time and energy to access God. Focus our attention on the
victorious being won. Not the falling away and work of
Antichrist. Is your tabernacle a house of thanksgiving? The
will of God is that you be content right where you are. Prayer
is relationship with God.

whether you feel like it or it's demonstrated or not. To receive
the mercy of God we must receive His forgiveness. If you want to
make a better tabernacle for God be a forgiver. You can live in
the holy of holies. You can't come any way you want - you must
come purely. The voice of God. Is it in order? Is it according
to the specific direction of God? How orderly and consistent is
your life?
