Leonel, you want to come back here? We're going to pray for you and just believe God to touch this body. There's been a real war that's going on. Many of you are aware of it; doctors aren't aware even of what the total cause is; they obviously don't have any solutions for it, but God does, amen? Let's just stand before the Lord and we're going to believe God. Come on over here and we're just going to pray. Hallelujah! Let's just direct your faith now and your hands toward our brother, we're going to believe God in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, Father we decree it in the name that's above every name, Father, a people dependent upon you, a people looking to You Lord. We rely solely on the authority of that name and the power of your presence Jesus, and we speak healing into this body for the glory of God, in the name of Jesus. Be healed. Oh Father, finish the work and let us glorify your name. Cause us to boast in you alone Lord. We'll be careful Father, we'll be careful to give you that praise in Jesus name. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Let's just rejoice in the Lord and thank Him for what He's done. Glory to God. We thank You Father. Lord, you alone are our glory. Hallelujah, hallelujah! Glory, glory. Hallelujah! You can be seated. Aren't you glad that when doctors have exhausted all of their means there's a balm in Gilead? A very present help in the time of all of our troubles; a God who answers prayer.
You know, we've been talking about prayer, and we've talked about the fatherhood of God and His mercy, and His love, and His desire to provide for us. And we've talked about our need of constantly reminding ourselves of dependence as we pray, "give us this day our daily bread," and when we recite this prayer daily. It's to remind us of our daily dependence. We have so much of an abundance in our cupboards at home and some of us still in a stash that we have put away a year ago and the abundance and yet we can pray in faith truly, "give us this day our daily bread," amen? When you realize that God's the source and we're depending upon Him. But the prayer ends up - also, not only do we have a loving Father who cares to provide for us; not only have we been taught that there's to be a dependence, but the fact that our Father is sufficient. As the prayer ends, it ends along these lines: "for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever," amen.
As we pray we're to be constantly reminded of the power of God, that He reigns over all, amen? Aren't you glad that He's over your circumstances today? Any of you facing adverse circumstances? God's power is sufficient. Do any of you have any enemies? If you haven't recognized them in the flesh I want you to know there's some invisible ones, there's principalities and powers that are opposing us at every hand, but greater is He that's in us than he that's in the world, praise God.
And so we're to constantly remind ourselves of that dependence upon the power of God, and yet as we've talked about in the last couple of sessions, there's so many things in the world system that are vying for our attention and for our confidence. We've talked about it's just recently that people have begun to have confidence in a power called credit. How many of you know the world up until about fifty years ago, didn't have an official established credit system like we have today where you can just use it at your own discretion. Oh you could go borrow, and of course there were the lenders that made money off of this. I'm talking about at your own discretion that you just carried around a line of credit. And people have begun to depend upon that. Medical science has improved to where it is so easy to take a look at what science can provide for us in the physical realm. I read something, a statistic just the other day in the paper that 46% of all Americans are taking a prescription drug. 46% of all Americans are taking a prescription drug. And so there's an ever-continuing dependence upon pharmaceuticals and many of these different areas. And of course there's times when we see that temporarily that's necessitated, but the question that we have to ask is, "what are we trusting in and what are we depending upon on a daily basis?" Do we remember to take the pill but forget to pray, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven?" Do we forget to pray, "for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever?" Amen. We remember to take the pill, we remember to put on our glasses, we remember whatever else it is, and we don't constantly remind ourselves of the need to depend upon the presence and the promises of God. And so slowly faith is being eroded from the church, and the Lord asks the question in a number of places "when I come will I find faith on the earth?"
What are we doing as individuals to stir up faith in our own hearts? Now remember the definition of faith, of the word itself, the definition is "faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen." But the word itself means to trust or to rely upon. And so when we ask ourselves the question, "do I have faith," and without faith it's impossible to please God, amen? For those that come to God must believe that He is and that He's a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. He is what? He is what He said He was in His Word. He is a loving, heavenly Father, He is the omnipotent God, He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our provider. He is Jehovah Shalom, the Lord our peace. And so we learn to trust in Him, the great Jehovah Tsidkenu , our righteousness. And so we don't rely on our works, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and we constantly remind ourselves as to who our God is and what His promises are.
But at the same time we have all of the world's system that's vying for our attention and all of its methods. And the Scripture says, "the fear of man brings a snare." It doesn't mean, "oh, I'm afraid of man." It means to reverence man. It means to give man more credibility, and it snares you into that same humanistic bondage. The fear of man, or the reverence of man, or being in awe of man and his abilities and his power of you or whatever it is instead of relying in God who is able to deliver us. And it brings that snare of worldliness into our hearts and we profess to love God and trust God but really, we live the way the world does; not a lot a lot of difference between the way we conduct our lives. Oh we don't smoke, and we don't chew, and we don't run with girls who do. We don't go to the movies, and we don't play pool, and whatever the rules are of any given society that is accepted, communal morality. One church may have one, we have another. That's not holiness. And so we realize that holiness is being separated completely unto God. The holy vessel is that which was consecrated and removed from the natural and put into the spiritual realm and was holy for God, to the service of God, to the glory of God. And of course, that's what our hearts desire is and we're not talking about becoming monastic in our approach, we know that we can be in the world, the Scripture says, but not of it. And so you can be in the world. You can have a secular job. You can be married. Some people think you have to be celibate to be holy, of course not. You can be in the world, not of it. You can live as natural man and yet be separate, because we're wholly trusting God and letting Him be our source. But the world is constantly pulling at our hearts and at our minds, and asking the question, "has God said?" "Surely you won't die if you partake of this."
The original sin we talked about. We all know that it's summed up in rebellion, but we saw that the rebellion, or the withdrawing from God, the eating of the fruit that opened the eyes and gave understanding of good and evil brought us from a dependence to an independence. The whole propaganda of the devil from the beginning has been "why be totally dependant upon God when there is access here to that which will give you understanding and ability?" Man's ability is great. Look what we've been able to do over these short few thousand years. God had to confound the language there a millennia ago, saying about man that unless there was the confounding there wouldn't be anything that he couldn't do. So what did man do? He found a way to overcome the confounding of language didn't he? And now man can sit down at his typewriter, or his computer, and type here in America in English and via all of the technological miracles it comes out in Chinese, and the man understands what you're saying, and you're talking about gigabytes and whatever has gone past that and a way to do away with God. And man, in his conversing constantly through this great technology is "how can we prove that there is no God and that we, man, are in charge of our own destiny?"
We sit back and we look at it as Christians, and we go, "oh, cool man," and we jump on there and we're taking advantage of all of the technology and not seeing the spirit that's behind it. There's nothing wrong with availing ourselves of the technology. The technology is amoral. How ignorant are we of the spirit of the age that we're living in? And what's happening to the next generation? And so we're faced as parents, as adults, to make certain decisions on how moral this particular thing may be. Committees are meeting all over the world of unregenerated, immoral men trying to establish a morality for genetic engineering. How many of you have confidence that man will come up with good standards? How many of you know what the bottom line is going to be that orchestrates every decision that's made? MONEY. It answers all things the Scriptures tell us. And then you have, of course, along with this, you have power, and fame, and all that comes into the ego and the exaltation of man. But money is power. Most of the big money likes to stay behind the scenes, it doesn't throw itself our there to be seen. It operates in darkness, pulls the strings. The real power isn't seen. And so we're living in this kind of world, and it's the spirit of antichrist that's raging. How aware of it are we really? And how easy has it become to justify the fact that we're just making life a little easier for ourselves? I mean, "I'm not really trusting in this, I'm just using it to grease the wheels. I'm just making things easier, just you know, it's just making life easier. I'm not depending upon it, and I surely wouldn't use it contrary to the kingdom of God, and in fact, I know that day is going to come, and the fact of the matter is, though everyone else fails Him, I'm not going to. I'm just going to warm myself here by this fire a little bit. I'm just going to take a little bit of a nap while He asks me to watch one hour with Him, because I mean, obviously He doesn't want me to be uncomfortable in this life." And all of these things are available, and they're not bad in and of themselves, and there's another generation that's never had all of this at their fingertips.
Just in these few short years some of us - I look back and I can only remember going to the doctor once in my life. You didn't go to the doctor when you got sick. If you weren't dead, if you died they buried you, and otherwise they pretty much treated you as pagans believing that somehow through evolution this body devised some way to heal itself. And there were exceptions, and the mortality rate in third world nations was horrific, and the life span here in America was sixty something instead of whatever it is today. I'm not saying that it was best I'm just saying that's how it was. But you didn't trust in what doctors could - I didn't even know what they did. The one time I can remember going, I remember going to get a shot of penicillin; it was the miracle drug. And I go in there, and I was just a kid. I don't remember how old I was at the time, I was probably seven years old, and this guy brought out a needle about that long and that big around. You know what? I'm convinced that people would go to the doctor less if they used the needles they used to use. You get a shot today you don't even know they did it. You go, "what?" I got these shots for Africa you couldn't even feel them. I remember when I got shots for the military, it was like guys were sticking straws in you. You're walking through there and by the time you get down, you'd get about seven or eight shots in a row. What you did was you walked in this thing and you stopped, and a guy shot you on both sides and you stepped up and these two guys hammered you, and you stepped up, and these two guys got you, and you did it one more time and blood is pouring down your arms and you're done. Does anybody remember that? The bad old days. I'm not saying there's anything good about that. I'm talking about where we've come, and what we now trust in, and what's so easy to distract us from "thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, amen."
Daniel chapter 1. You see what I'm talking about? The spirit and how - the thing that's interesting, you see, all of this is for our good. Aren't you glad that the surveillance that they had at the Super Bowl was for everybody's good? They didn't tell anybody that they were watching them. How many of you saw that in the news? Let me see your hands, how many of you saw that in the news? Goodness, about 20%. Every person's picture, without their knowledge, was taken going into the stadium. 100,00 people, close to that, and run through a computer and identified, without their knowledge, for their own good, of course. Now you have people arguing on both sides, and some say, "well hey look, it's a public place, we didn't come into your house, it was a public place, you know. If you were there and you shouldn't have been there, then you know, shame on you." But they're putting it off on what's good for us. And what's good for us is for them to watch us without our knowledge. Big Brother. The ability now to run a check on everybody. Do they have your picture? I wonder how many - do you think - how many of you think they have your picture? How many of you think they have your picture? How many of you have a driver's license? Does anybody have their social security number on their driver's license? They got you. So what are we going to talk about now? Are we going to talk about some great conspiracy? Yeah, the greatest of all, antichrist. And it makes all the other conspiracy theories pale, doesn't it, when you look at the truth of what is going to happen. Now before antichrist can come in there has to be a total reprogramming of men's thoughts into one world perspective. Well, how are we going to have one world when we can't even have one nation, therefore let's do away with state's rights. How many of you understand there's a total movement in practice, if not in policy, of state's rights? And so we realize as a nation this is a deterioration. Your rights as individuals are being absorbed into the "good of the whole." I don't want to get off on all of the specifics of it I'm trying to identify that spirit for you. And everything that we do, look around you, everything is eroding and being forced into a global perspective of the masses being cared for by the elite, and so in this process there has to become two great powerful systems with world perspective, financial and religious. And it's happening before our very eyes, isn't it? Now though it's not designed specifically to destroy the Church, the true Church, the Body of Christ, it is of course, the catalyst for the separation into the apostate religious system and those who are going to wholly follow God, the elect remnant. And so there's a people that are coming over this direction en masse, and becoming part of this one world religious system, and they have a way that they conduct themselves, and we have to ask ourselves, are we acting like them? And it's not just religion, it's the way of life, and who we are trusting in, and what we're trusting in. And as they establish what is and is not acceptable religion, they will tell you, "you can't raise your child like that, we'll take him from you; you cannot stand in faith, you must take them to the hospital or we'll take them from you." And we've seen those cases, right or wrong. Even in the religions that I don't agree with, Jehovah's Witnesses and some of these, Christian Science and some of their foolishness of mind over matter, and the suffering that they endure, and the death that takes place possibly prematurely in their lives or their children or whatever, and they say, "you can't do that," and so for your own good we say "you can believe what you want, you just can't live it." And most people aren't living it anyway.
Found Daniel 1 yet? Verse 8. "But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat." Let's say it another way, he purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the world system, with the spirit of antichrist. Where do they find themselves at this juncture? They find themselves under the judgment of God. They find themselves in a period of persecution, and let's give another word for persecution. Persecution always brings purification. It's in persecution that you're able to find out what you're all about. Now their rebellion, and their idolatry, and their unbelief put them in this particular thing but it was for the ability of revealing what's really in their hearts; and that many times we find ourselves in circumstances that we may not be directly responsible for such as these particular men. These were obviously godly men who were part of God's judgment on a nation or a whole, and they were in the same mess. We're going into a mess, and our hearts are going to be discovered, and we're already in a mess. And we talked about how so many of us today, we kind of laugh, and we think we're free from it. I guarantee you that unless you were asleep some of you would have withdrawals if we took your cell phone away. I'd love to unplug some of you from the Internet for sixty days. It would be great to see how many among us could live without our television sets and all of the little foxes. And we think we're fortified, and the enemy looks at us and laughs and says, "if a little fox jumps on your wall it's coming down." And you know what, there can be some truth to that, but there's one thing that has to be factored in, they always, they, the enemy, forget who's inside the wall. Amen? There's a God that lives in us, that in the midst of all this, where we're weak, and where we've made mistakes, God is living within us to bring illumination and to bring strength and health in the time of need, and to bring a deliverance if we'll trust in Him and if we'll begin to obey and allow ourselves to be delivered from the bondage that we've already recognized is in us. Some of us aren't even aware of it yet, but beloved, we're living in a day when our strength is on a daily basis being eroded because of our dependence upon so much of what man has done. They're not far away, as we talked the other day about this aging gene, as they've gone in and studied the DNA code and all of these different things. They're getting very close.
Now what did God do the last time man got that close? He confounded them. "He can't confound us, we've got computers." I wonder what method He's going to use. We know what the ultimate confounding is going to be don't we? I think hundred pound hailstones takes care of some confounding. How about the water turning the poison, and the sea to blood, and a third of all the living creatures dying? Who are we trusting in tonight as the remnant, the people who have been mandated to pray, "give us this day our daily bread; thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory?" Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself. Have you? You see, what we're going to find here is that the greatest nation, those who were apparently the preeminent power, the ones who had it all figured out, the guys who were in charge; the shakers, the movers, the elite, the healthy, the wealthy. They had a system but Daniel purposed not to defile himself with the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank. So he requested that me might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. Beloved, I want you to get a hold of this right now. Some of you are facing it at this very moment, the world is just pulling at you, and pulling at you, and saying, "if you don't do it our way we'll destroy you, you'll never work in this town again, there's not room in this town for two of us. I want you out by high noon, not just sundown." I want you to factor in verse nine beloved, the favor of God. If God's for us nobody can be against us, amen? Now think about it. There's a practical, wise, logical way of doing things. "Hey! God sent us here, He sent us here to be purified. We're here because of our own flesh, and our own disobedience; we're being punished of God, let's eat the meat." I mean, we can reason this. "God put me here. I mean, He's put me here and so, you know, this is the program."
Daniel must have been seeing something that others weren't seeing, because you see, in the midst of this persecution, now let's figure out how to get ahead in this thing. "Hey! Since we're here let's make the best out of it. Let's go ahead and see who we can make friends with, let's compromise, let's see if we can get a few special deals cut here. I'm going to at least make some deals so that my family's provided for." But God had brought Daniel into favor.
Who are you going to trust in? You see, you can go throughout the Scriptures and look for the intervention of God and hold it up against the ability of man. As we go into the study, and we could spend a lot of time doing it as we develop some of these thoughts, but just let your mind go back because I do want to go to Exodus in just a minute and deal with Moses, but let your mind go back to Egypt if you would, and see the two methods. And you see the original method of Moses taking things into his own ability. He was a prince trained in the colleges of Egypt. Multiple doctorates, probably one in military strategy, black belt. He was a Green Beret, Special Forces, Seal, Ranger, Commando, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rambo rolled into one. He had all of the ability that the world could provide and couldn't deliver one person. And in fact, made things worse, and so he's exiled and the burning bush is the transformation in his life. And God empties him of himself and sends him on a mission. And it wasn't with all of the technology and the ability of the day but he gave him a rod, a stick, a shepherd's staff. And the world's going to laugh at our staff, and they're going to laugh at our sling and our five stones. And they're going to mock our cruse of oil, and they're always - the natural man, your flesh, your natural tendencies will always say, "it's not sufficient, it's not going to be enough," but I believe in miracles. Do you believe in miracles tonight? I believe in miracles, I believe in a God who is the power and the glory. A miracle is just a suspension or an overcoming of natural law for the purpose of God. And God suspends or overcomes natural laws for His own purposes to sustain His people and to show Himself mighty in our midst. Do you believe in miracles tonight? Every day you go to work they're trying to cause you to believe in man, and in science, and in technology. And they want you to understand their ability to control the laws. And we serve a God who suspends those laws. He created them, He can suspend them, and He can override them for His own purposes. You had better check what table you're pulling up to eat at on a daily basis; whether you're eating the king's meat or the daily bread. The meat to eat that the majority know nothing of, to do the will of my Father, the one that sent me.
Men's minds, they've sat down and they've figured out that it's impossible for Moses to have led that many people through that terrain. It was impossible, you couldn't communicate. You couldn't feed that many people, there wasn't sufficient food, there wasn't sufficient water. It is impossible unless it was a what? Miracle. Miracles make it possible. You couldn't have provided enough water tankers out there, but God provided a rock, amen? "That's a fairy tale, that's just a parable to state some kind of a spiritual concept of God." Is it? Or do we experience the same thing on a daily basis? The God who said, "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof, having food and raiment let us therewith be content" is the same God that sustained them for forty years in the same clothes. Some of you would have a breakdown if you thought you'd have to wear the same thing for the next forty years every day. Some of you are as wrapped up in the garb that you put on as others are wrapped up in the bodies that are underneath and forget that the real person is the one inside.
And so we look at what Daniel is saying to us here, and understanding these particular principles, and God brought him favor. "And the prince of the eunuchs said to Daniel [verse10] I fear my lord the king who hath appointed your meat and your drink, [he's the one that figured out - he said, this is what you guys need, this is what's going to make you strong, its what is going to sustain you, we're going to try to reprogram you, this is what's necessary] for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? Then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. Then said Daniel to Melzar whom the prince of the eunuchs had sent over Daniel...[verse 12] Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. Then let our countenance be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat the of the portion of the king's meat; and as thou seest, deal with your servants [make up your own mind. So they said okay, we'll give it a ten day trial] and at the end of ten days [verse 15] their countenance appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse." The other dudes are over there eating this special menu man, they're eating filet, and protein pills, and taking all that they need man, everything that's the finest that the kingdom has to offer and Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were eating pulse. Verse 17, "As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams." Verse 20, "And in all matters of understanding that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better ..." Do we believe that? Is God's way ten times better? Are we going to be a people that (*end of side 1)
(beginning side 2) ...and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and the contemporary presence and power of the Holy Spirit, through the manifestation of the gifts of the spirit, and then think that somehow the world system is going to provide us more than the Word of Wisdom, the Word of Knowledge, the discerning of spirits, the gift of faith, the working of miracles, the gifts of healings, prophecy, tongues, and interpretation? What does the world have that can compare with that? That's resident within us right now that at God's discretion a word of wisdom, a word of knowledge, a working of miracles, manifesting for our sustenance for the glory of God, for the overcoming of the enemy. Greater is He that's in us than He that's in the world! Do you believe that tonight? Then what are we doing to separate ourselves like Daniel did, so that those things become proficient in us, and it becomes that, that we turn to first and not the natural? What's the easiest for you to lean on right now, a miracle or man's methods? A word of wisdom or your own knowledge and understanding? The working of miracles or new technology? Where are we as a people whose God is the Lord? What have we done to separate ourselves that we wouldn't defile ourselves with the king's meat? He didn't even want a portion of it.
And so we see the story, and we're all familiar with what this kind of a commitment does for us. It sends us to the fiery furnace. That's not good news, or is it? Because when they came out of the fiery furnace the shackles had been burned off, amen? Everything that the kingdom had put on them to demonstrate their power was gone. There was no more boasting, there was no more lording it over these men who would not defile themselves with the king's portion. What's the last miracle your children have seen? When's the last time you wholly trusted in God? Is it the first impulse of your children to pray and to stand? And it may be, because they're getting taught well, and they may be doing a better job than you are. So what are you undoing by your unbelief that the little ones are being taught? How is it that you're justifying your unbelief before them? Be careful, it would be better for a millstone to be tied about our necks than to offend one of the little ones. Be careful that you're not found trying to explain to them why it doesn't always work. God's Word is yea and amen, His promises are sure to a thousand generations. The master had meat to eat that the others knew nothing of. Let's not defile ourselves with the king's portion.
Father, we thank You for the Word of God, and as we've ended this study on prayer, Father, we ask that it wouldn't just be again a methodology and a way of making life easier, but a very great understanding of how separate we are, how holy we are, and how holy You are. Father, that we'd be a people that not only pray but a people that believe, for those that come must believe that You are, and that You're a rewarder of those that diligently seek You, the God of sufficiency, the God who is more than enough. El Shaddai, the supernatural provider. You're the abundance, exceeding, abundant above everything that we could ask or think. Where are we today, Father? Would we in the time of a real need rise up and shake ourselves and find ourselves to be like Samson, the Spirit having left us and we didn't even know it? Do we make our boast that though everyone else would fail You it would never happen to us? How is it that we find ourselves standing around this fire and warming ourselves? It's the natural conclusion to sleeping when you ought to be watching. It's progressive, you can't watch an hour, you sure can't be cold and uncomfortable. The world has set its standards for success and God says, having food and raiment, be content, and the great gulf that's between. How do we reconcile that? Well, who's table are we sitting at to get the abundance? Having food and raiment, content. Seek first the kingdom, the other things are added. Teach these statutes to your children and when you go into the nations don't serve there gods, pull down their idols, destroy their cities, kill men, women, children and livestock for I am a holy God. If you don't you'll be seduced by the Midianites. You'll be enticed by the lasciviousness of the Moabites and the Ammonites. You'll be caught up in their frolicking and their offering of their children. What makes us different than every generation that's gone before us, that didn't pray "hallowed be thy name,"? Holy, separate, it's only Your way. There's a way that seems right unto men, give us wisdom Father to discern the difference, we ask in Jesus' name. Amen.
Let's stand before the Lord tonight. As the Spirit of God speaks to us and the rest that His Spirit has for our hearts is being embraced, and there's a great confidence in it right now and we know that we're walking in the spirit and therefore we are not going to be fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. See, the lust of this flesh isn't just a behavior, it's an attitude, it's a philosophy, it's what we're depending on. Are you at peace, you know in whom you've believed, and you're persuaded that that which you've committed unto Him He keeps against that day? I know that my first reaction, my first response is always to the Word of God, to the name of Jesus. Oh, there's times that I face confusion, and doubts, and fears, but I've cast the care upon You knowing that You care for me. I battle all of the same fleshly tendencies that everybody else does but I don't trust in my flesh, and I hate the ways of the world. They're an abomination to me. Are you comfortable with the knowledge of your heart tonight? Are you comfortable with the pursuit of the miraculous? That's the real issue, that's the rest that God's calling us to.
Let's take a moment and just worship Him tonight and thank Him for His word to us. Just take a moment and search your own heart, and establish what kingdom reigns in your life tonight. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. People, so much to be thankful for. The Greater One that dwells within us promises with an assurance that though heaven and earth passes, His Word will not pass. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. He's not asking you to be strong, He's asking you to believe He's strong. He's not asking you to divide the Red Sea, He's asking you to trust that He will and then to walk through it. Do you hate the world's system, that that would seduce you and entice you? Is it an abomination; is it a stench to your nostrils? Have you tasted the gravel in your mouth? Oh, Lord, that we would boast in You. That we would delight in the high calling of God, a people peculiar, set apart. A people that would give thanks unto their God for the grace and the mercy that's delivered us. As we prepare to sing this chorus, "Give Thanks." He is the holy one, totally separate, no other gods before Him. Let's worship Him as we sing it and acknowledge Him. Oh, we delight in You, Lord. Lord, we refuse to bow our knees. Oh hallelujah! We're rich Lord. We delight in You. Say it, "I'm strong in the power of His might." Just give Him His praise tonight. Just worship Him and thank Him for His presence. We that are weak can say, "I'm strong, in the power of His might." Uncomely members but given a greater comeliness because of His grace and His power. The weak things of the world, the foolish things, and God confounds them that the glory and the excellency might be of God and not of us. Oh hallelujah! Lord, be glorified in the midst of Your people.
Don't find yourself deceived, you can't play around with Delilah and just shake yourself and expect the Spirit of God to manifest. That walk in the spirit, the hearing of His voice, and the obedience to His ways assures the presence of the Holy Spirit. The consciousness of what's going around and seducing us from the world system, that we would refuse to eat the king's dainties is what keeps you strong, the death of every little fox that we might be about Father's business. And for it Father, we're going to give You all the glory in Jesus' name. Amen. Before you go, turn to somebody next to you and say, "I believe in miracles." Go in peace, God's love go with you.
