He gave to every man His work. We all have a task. The servants were doing their Lord's business. Completely abandon the self life. Everything we've gained goes back to Him. God expects you to be a profitable servant. Self righteous people see holiness as a way of advancement. Holiness is about being involved in other people's lives. Jesus is looking for a bride that has the same heart that he has. The task is to love these brothers and sisters the way he has loved you. Prepared for the Lord's return is in direct proportion to how much of your life you've given away for your brother's and sisters. We all need to do our part to prepare the bride. Laying down your life for your children. Purify yourself. You're ready for the rapture if you've loved your brothers. If you don't have confidence in the day of judgment its because you're not doing your job.
