Holiness and purity at the cross. Suffering was the just recompense for our sins. When we look at the suffering Jesus we see the horror of our sin. Our sin is great because our God is great. Serve Him with gladness. Honor the Lord with your substance. How far behind the Apostle Paul are we? We can be blind to the magnitude of our wickedness. We're more uncomfortable when we don't have on the right clothes than when we don't have on Jesus. We should have a heart to represent Jesus well. We should not take the works of our flesh lightly. Jesus is the greatest hero the world has ever known.
