Primary purpose of prayer is intimacy with Father. Set the Lord before your face. Prayer is warfare. This earth is a dry and thirsty land. There's nothing here worth living for. Prayer is accessing the presence of God. Are you looking every day for the miraculous of God? We get too busy - just listen. When you go to prayer-don't be rash with your mouth. The purpose of prayer is not you-it's Him. Intimacy can be fearful. Being busy in the kingdom of God can be an escape from intimacy. Get rid of all your agendas and let God set course. The Spirit will begin to show you what you are to do. How painful is your prayer? Do you yearn for Him? His Spirit confirms to me that I am His son. Prayer is not to get your prayer list prayed.
