Deliver us from evil. Getting in His presence clears our vision. The most important deliverance in a trial is to be delivered from self. Pray consistently and continually to be delivered from evil. Evil of deception. We're protected as we live in the light and are willing to be subjected to the light. Love the truth. Evil of lukewarmness. Idolatry of feeling that all is well because it is materially well. Our pursuit is a measure of our condition. Evil of loving the world. You can't expect to be delivered from evil when you spend so much time meditating on the world and so little time meditating on the Lord.
